Who can participate?

Youth from the East Lansing School District, entering the 4th – 8th grade may participate in the youth tackle football program.

Registration

The online registration is now open and will close on July 15th or until team rosters are full. 2026 ELYFC Registration. Registration can take place without making a payment. Payments can be made immediately but are due no later than July 15th.

Payment Information

All grades - $200 (Payments are due no later than July 15th)
All payments can be received online. 2026 ELYFC Payment
East Lansing Youth Football Club will provide all mandatory equipment. Players will be provided with a helmet, shoulder pads, game jerseys, and game pants.
Players must purchase their own game girdles, mouthguard, and football cleats. Suggestions: Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dunham’s, Amazon, etc.

Season Information

Summer workouts and conditioning dates will be announced later.
Fall practice location: MacDonald Middle School.
Fall practice begins early/mid-August (exact dates and times TBD)
Game are scheduled in September and October. 4th – 6th Grade play every Saturday. 7th & 8th Grade play every Wednesday.

ABOUT

The East Lansing Youth Football Club provides an opportunity for youth in the East Lansing School District to participate in 4th – 8th-grade tackle football. Our goal is to provide a structured atmosphere conducive to learning the game of football and to develop the youth of our community by promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, responsibility, and self-discipline through the game of football. We stress high moral standards and the extreme importance of academic achievement and community involvement.
